With the recent events regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Tomanetti Food Products would like to confirm that our food safety and sanitation procedures in the handling, transporting and presenting of food products to our customers are being strictly followed. Tomanetti Food Products always follows strict public health guidelines and foodservice safety Good Manufacturing Practices. 

At this point, we have no concerns with our supply chain and our ability to supply our products to you. We do not foresee any areas of risk based on what is known now. We will continue to deliver on our promise to be reliable in service to our customers.

We are routinely checking in with our suppliers to ensure they are not being affected by any work stoppages. Most of our raw materials are sourced domestically, and we have multiple qualified raw material sources. We will continue to remain in frequent communication with our suppliers so that we quickly detect any concerns that do arise. We will provide communications to keep you up to date as well.

 Sanitation precautions due to concerns of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The CDC suggests that people take the same steps they would normally to prevent the spread of the flu:  Take every day preventative actions – like washing your hands often – and see a doctor when you are sick.

The best measure is to avoid coming in contact with the virus:

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains 60-95% alcohol when water and soap are not available.
  • Avoid food sharing.
  • Stay home if sick.
  • Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that have been touched (counters, doorknobs, phones, etc.).
