Established in 1957 by Tom Mulvey, Tomanetti Food Products began as a small and well-regarded pizza shop in the Oakmont community. In 1971, Tom found that there was considerable demand from restaurants and bars in the region for his high-quality crust and opened the commercial bakery that has operated continuously at the same location on Allegheny Avenue right up to this day.

Today the bakery produces over 2 million crusts and flatbreads that get distributed fresh and frozen to foodservice customers and pizza shops throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio and beyond. Our fifteen-state distribution is a testimony to customer appreciation for the care and attention we put into this hand-made and skillfully baked product.

In 2016, the family agreed that it was time to turn over the ownership of the company to new blood. In July of that year, the company was acquired by Crust Holdings. This group of local investors agreed to support and maintain the existing bakery and our people. Going forward we plan to find ways to increase our product offerings in both food service and retail categories while committing to the high standards of quality and customer service that you have come to expect from Tomanetti.
